McDonalds’ had commercials with Grimace and Fry Guys
Girls wore LeTigre, Leggings and Moon Boots
Fellas 2 finger rings, Shell toes and Troop Suits
MCM Leathers, ear rings with the feather
The Get Along gang and Care Bears stuck together
Love-a-lot Bear,
Tenderheart Bear,
…if you were down you got the ‘Care Bear Stare’

Dax Grease, Brush, fresh part for the hair
Arguing who’s the best Hulk Hogan – Ric Flair
Use to watch Charles in Charge and Punky Brewster
Margaux was that girl, Cherie was a loser
Had School Boxes Safe-T Scissors and Glue
All moms wanted to do was watch Donahue
Carrie Bradshaw was first on Square Pegs
Solid Gold Dancers had the best legs

Loved Fraggle Rock, Moms use to hate it

The nostalgia of this post makes me yearn for those days again… especially today.
Loved The Get-Along Gang. I use to have Montgomery Moose and Dotty. They sat amongst my Cabbage Patch, Rainbow Brite & all my other dolls and watched me pretend I was a star sometimes.
I hated Fraggle Rock too. Just never got into it.
Why is it we only had Vaseline??! Where was the lotion back then? My parents swore by that damn Vaseline- it was the cure to everything, that and salt w/ hot water. *sigh*
What?! Didn’t feed my….?! *frown*
Moms and I have to talk. :p
