Food annoys me.
I’m already a picky eater (See Read this)…I already don’t eat next to anything…but damnit man!
Like I LOVE to eat fruit…but I hate buying fruit, I go to the grocery store with I’ma eat healthy glee in my face
Cop me some fresh fruit…or you know when they have the fruit in the plastic containers? The assorted joints?
Yeah I get those…come home maybe I don’t want to eat them that day…but the next I open it up and it smells some kinda way
It COULD be fine…but if I THINK I smell something I don’t want to eat it.
OH and then what if you get the stuff on like the last day you’re supposed to? Like when its expiration date is all close?
Then it’s bad business
And who knows if the grocery boys just keep the same ish up there and change the dates!?
Like Ground beef
I be all like “Shiddddd I’m gone git my Sketti on” Go to the store, cop some ground beef (I use Ground Sirloin or Angus) and everything is all to the good
Get home and get the eclectik-skillet goin and break up the meat and its brown in the middle and the bottom!
Like DAMNIT MAN! And even though I’m about to brown the meat, I cannot take it ALREADY being brown!
Those fukers just go around sprayin the meat with Pank on the tops? UGH!
Milk be chillin!
I can’t stand buying milk! I’m all at the grocery Store (Special shout outs to Krogers son!) and be like
“I want me some cereal” It’s quick…practical…deelish and is an important part of a balanced breakfast
Lemme get me some Raisin Bran (Hey F U I enjoy the Raisin Bran…or the Frosted Flakes…or the Corn Flakes)
Anywhoo…so lemme cop; uh oh…need me some Milk (Vitamin D dunny…none of that watered down % mess)
Get home
…I don’t want any cereal…another morning; man I’m not in the mood…don’t have time…know what happens?
By the time the expiration date is up I’ve made one bowl
And I LOATHE the crumbs at the bottom of the cereal box/bag….YUCK icky blah boo
Know what I do?
When I cook, I MUST clean up while and after I cook…even if that means my food is cold when I eat…if I’m cooking for someone I make their plate and go and clean up a lot of the times
…the kitchen has to stay clean son! Dishwasher loaded, counter wiped down and OH whatever I cooked in (Pots/Pans/etc) has to be cleaned…at the very least rinsed out…that’s nasty.
Smell this…
That’s one of the drawbacks of living alone or being single, I need someone to “smell this” sometime
Cuz I swear if the sniffer sniffs something different…I aint eatin it LOL!
Guess what else I do…?

Cuz I only defrost in the fridge…I don’t play that leave on the counter or sit in the sink mess..And I DAMN sure don’t defrost in the microwave…it just cooks the ish; nasty.

There’s just too much about this post that is similar to me that I can’t even comment on it all.

One of the main reasons I went vegetarian six years ago. How are you gonna bleach meat and change the expiration date??? Soon as you open the pack, it smells like ish.

I am the same way about my food! See, we could go grocery shopping together.
And buy the milk in the carton. It lasts waaaaay longer…. Like for a month and a half.
Anyone who doesn’t clean their dishes immediately has issues. Mold grows quick. And the funk AIN’T pretty!
And anyone who doesn’t eat ooples and banoonoos has issues too.
(I had an elementary moment there. Sorry.)

Food annoys you? What did the poor food did to you?
lol@ I never buy the mixed fruit trays (containers) at the store, because I don’t think they last longer than that day…I think the stores use the overly ripen fruit to make them…but that’s just me. I like fruit, but I so don’t know how to pick it out.
I always look get the furthest expiration date…I know I annoy other shoppers in the store…picking over ish.
I will just buy a pint of milk at a time…maybe a half gallon if I’m baking or during the winter for hot chocolate.
I hate those crumbs too…I pretty much throw the box away when it’s half empty.

-I always do this…I live in the grocery store. I don’t like to leave my meat out on the counter or in the sink either…I defrost it in the fridge, which takes forever, so I might as well buy it and cook it that day.
Well food does not annoy me…but some of it is nasty as hell…most of it. lol

I always had the food rot on me when I bought it in bulk and I only drink milk when eating cereal so a quart is the way to go for me…….i hate thawing out meat if im super hungry….take out it is!

PANK….LMAO, I am bout 3 seconds from being a fat vegan son. With all the meat stories, bones, and expired shit I’ve been seeing since I’ve moved to Da Urreah, I’m bout to buy some land JUST to grow my own shit.

It’s always my luck that right when I want a bowl of cereal the milk is on the date of expiration. I don’t play with milk, if it says its old, it’s old, ain’t no saving it.

I smell my food too, and I look at it, if something feels off I’m not eating, I don’t care of Emeril prepared it right in front of my face!

I’m with you on the kitchen being clean. I cant stand a nasty kitchen…ewwwww.

no but i am the same way about cleaning while i’m cooking. bf gets so annoyed when i cook cause he has to sit there all alone and eat while i’m cleaning up. LOL.
…i HATE when people eat and don’t at least rinse their plate off. works my nerves something fierce.

I hate defrosting in the microwave too. It’s so gross… you end up with half-cooked meat and I swear it affects the quality of the meat once it’s done! Yuck!

I feel you on allathat. I won’t even eat bread on the date of expiration. catching food poisoning will do that to you. Spraying the milk with the pank stuff. Uggghhhh…I never even thought of that. That’s nayussty!!

You’re a fool for this one, but I understand you completely. On a completely unrelated note, don’t you hate when someone tastes some bad shit, and then they’re all like ‘taste this’? I’m like WTF, if you didn’t like it and it tastes like emu rectum, why do you think I would enjoy it? I think people just need someone to suffer with them…

I used to work for the district office of a larger retailer/grocery store. One of the grocery guys told me that they actually do put something on the meat that keeps it from turning until you take it out of the plastic and the oxygen hits it. Ewww…

I thought I was the only one. I like to buy a week at a time. Saturday or Sunday afternoons are my grocery shopping days. I like my food fresh!
